“POOR” will be a historical detective story, unraveling this complex crime and making it accessible to the economic laymen. Like any good detective story we will have our suspects, victims and of course our heroes looking to right this historical wrong.
"POOR" will not only have commentary from the experts in the trailer above such as Senator Bernie Sanders, Kathy Edin and Lawrence Katz but we will meet the people that are affected by income inequality directly. We want our audience to see the faces of those that have fallen out of the once great middle class into poverty but also the working homeless, the students that struggle with enormous debt and folks that are living on $2 a day and less. It's all good well to hear from all these experts and advocates but meeting those affected we believe will have the greatest of impact and hopefully cause change. Now with over 45 million people living in poverty it is clear that income inequality is arguably the most important issue of our time.
