starting January 2018 we're opening an entirely new way to share and sell your art work /brand to the community of New Orleans. we're extremely excited to present a new by artist curated art market. we believe that requesting artists to participate in art markets then charging them is rather backwards. it's a total risk entering certain markets. our program will ensure artists receive all of what they make while avoiding booth fees. it's a tad bit hard finding a decent market with foot traffic in New Orleans for cheap/free. so we decided to create our own artist friendly platform with the help of Urban South Brewery.
January 13th is the grand opening of our Portculture x Urban South market. it's featuring a collection of non-traditional visual artists, local brands, sculptors, and photographers that work their asses off perfecting their craft and message. the line-up of confirmed artisans rest on the event page at our main website.
we are also encouraging each artist to make an account on Ello as apart of participation. we will be tagging and promoting their works on our Ello platform to help expand their reach. thank you for your time, we hope you tune into the channel and watch our story develop. we are the arts renaissance of the gulf-coast.
