An update is long overdue, but after all of the delays brought about by uprooting and moving back to New Orleans after 24-odd years in the Atlanta 'burbs, St. Honoré's inking is complete. The delays have been a mixed blessing as I am simultaneously SOFREAKINGTIRED of working on this drawing (I posted my first pencils back on June 1st...) the and yet the time spent in the middle of it provided a lot of time for assessment and perspective. In so many words, the concept for the next drawing is already nailed down, and it may finally be the fusion of style, theme, and technique that I've been trying to figure out.
I've also had a lot of time to look at the rubbish state of social media and the artificial obstacles that Facebook has put in place in order to make a buck, and I've decided that it's time to give @ello a serious go as my primary online media site. I'll be learning the ropes in the weeks to come.
