Angelina Jolie's Depressed Bisexual Sister
Watson and I stop at the wooden shelter after hole six. Hole eight is out in the open, so we stop at the picnic table for our safety check.
"It gets better," I say, emptying my pockets. I'm looking for my phone. I forgot we unofficially banned them from the frolf course in an effort to disconnect. "Of course, I don't have my phone, but Heygrrl showed me something on Glassy's SNAP this morning. Did you know Glassy can post stuff and then restrict who sees it?"
"What?"
"Oh yeah, he posted this 'letter' to his 'crush', Angela's Depressed," I wave my arms. It's a long name. "On his page the other night. It basically thanked her for being there this whole time. Making herself available to him. And how she's everything he's ever wanted but it's still not the right time for them. That they have things they still need to take care of."
"Fuck. You." Watson started a new job last week at the same place she's working too.
"No for real. I'm sure you were blocked from it too. I'm sure Elbows was as well."
"Does she know about it?"
"Not yet, I'm not sure I want to piss her off."
Angelina's DBS worked at the Golden Arches with us. Sometime ago. When Cassie was still alive. Glassy and the Redhead became friends. Spending a lot of time passing texts back and forth. Enough that eventually Cassie caught on, and called him out on it. By her words, some of those texts were not appropriate, especially since the Redhead was seventeen at the time. I secretly hold a theory that Cassie got pregnant on purpose because of it. The timing always seemed right to me. Elbows' wife, Fingers, was also apparently having inappropriate conversations and possible interactions with the Redhead almost around the same time.
Flashforward to a week after Cassie died, and Glassy is fucking the Redhead in his bed. The shit storm that caused pissed off so many people. Drew a lot of lines in the sand. A lot of us banded together to help Glassy out, and he was seeking comfort in the arms of the last eighteen year old on this planet he should be with.
Defiant to this day, he's still talking to her. Claiming she is everything he's ever wanted. All of this over his phone. To a select audience. Not even thinking that the only thing holding him back was Cassie being alive.
