I strictly use Facebook as a means of contacting close friends, family, and colleagues, but even then I'm battling against those filtering algorithms by marking people as "close friends" or using the Social Fixer add-on to write long-form comments so I don't have to spam debates just to separate paragraphs. Ideally, I would like to leave the service, but then I would also disconnect myself from that close circle of friends and family or at least most of them. Disclosure: I actually deleted my first Facebook account after reading this blog post by Sean Bonner when I was into Google+. That's pretty much how it went with all heresy being about news on Facebook.
Even if I'm a product on there. No, even if they are "products", privacy should be a norm not an exception.
Okay, Facebook rant over. Back to business.
