Good news for Ello:
I recently heared something that is a big fortune for ello. The theory of a ted-talk I watched a few days ago. The concept was simply but powerfull: Ideas that spread - win. The talkers tip was to not aim at the big area of everyday people that are verry good in ignoring any kind of advertising because there is a lot of things to buy and to do but just a little bit of time. Instead product-promoters should go for the people that dont walk with the everyday things but do realy care in a spezial segment. If they are satisfied, they gonna spread the world from one person to another. And this is what makes products verry popular, the people themselves.
Ello uses this concept verry good as they decidet to open it firstly to an elite group of art lovers, photographs, musicians and other creative people that care, but let them invite their friends. I invited creative people myself and they gonna invite other people until the not so creative people realize a third of their friends is recomending ello instead of facebook and ask someone of them to invite them.
I am pretty sure that Ello not gonna die but gonna grow and persist beside other sozial networks.
