Outdoor adventure means at least two things to me. First, of course, nature is the most important thing about an outdoor adventure. It has to be massive/impressive/inspirational, like nature always is and like the alps and clouds during our hike on the Hochkalter were. Second, outdoor adventures are about the adventure and adventure means going out of your comfort zone, stepping over your imagined possibilities and boundaries and letting yourself get carried away by the circumstances. Like on our hike, when we got dead tired but still managed to go another 800meters down in height (starting at the lodge you can see in the photo) and spontainiously went bathing in a cold lake once we were down the mountain on day two.
