My name is Rafaela Micheloni, I am a Brazilian visual artist. I have a degree in Visual Arts from the Pontifical Catholic University of Campinas, in the state of São Paulo, and have worked as an art educator. I was born in a city in the interior of the state of São Paulo, where I lived with my grandparents and had access to vintage culture. My work is always focused on the issue of memory and gender issues, I use a lot of art collage in my works. I started my career as a visual artist recently and I have participated in several exhibitions in Brazil and in other countries.
In my work, I portray women in unusual and surreal situations through digital collages. I always seek to work with old photographs that I find online and on my family albums. In this work, I wanted to represent the woman and the solar system as one thing, as if the feminine union were the balance of the system.
