A little political commentary:
'My friend! looking at the news these days, I have to think there is no such thing anymore as a single-issue activist. Everything goes together. Farmland and city reservoirs are drying up because there is global warming, and there is global warming because there is air-pollution. There is increased risk of cancers, allergies, asthma, heart-disease, autism, and worse, because there is water-pollution and tainted food. There are still people starving, poor, out of house and home, because the same corrupt politicians and crooked businessmen who made pollution necessary, also poured it into certain people's neighborhoods and took all the money out. Public works are on shoestring budgets because those same corrupt politicians and crooked businessmen promised work and freedom with one hand and took those things away with the other. I could go on. But to fix any of these problems, one can't help but get involved in the others, and that's all I mean to say'.
What do my readers think? (if any).
