Lessons in film: Marissa
I was invited to a concert in Atlanta. The artists I didn't really know but my friend was covering the event and she wanted me to see if there were any pictures I could create from my experience. I decided to start backstage and when I did, I met Marissa. She was soft spoken, kind, and asked if I was ready to see her perform. To be honest, I had know idea she was so I shook her hand and said "of course!". When it was her turn to get on stage, I had no idea what to expect but when she began to sing and the lights began to dim, I saw and felt a completely different energy. It was as if she bloomed in front of everyone and the stage lights were the sun and the cheers from the crowd was the water she was craving. The photos I've captured can barely express the feelings of the room but it captured what I needed it to.
Truth. Growth. And the shine one has when walking in their purpose. How do you walk in yours?
