Here's some photos from one of my first portrait sets I did pretty much a year ago. We decided what better way to practice shooting than to take a day trip to Jasper! We started driving at about 4am as it takes about 4 hours to get to Jasper from Edmonton. As we were driving we realized how it was a terrible idea to be driving while the snow kept falling on a highway with no lights. We made a the decision to stop at my cabin until the snow stopped falling and until the sun started to rise. Fast forward to when we arrive to Jasper. We were extremely lucky with how the weather during the rest of the day turned out to be. Super sunny, and quite warm for January. Looking back on these photos, although not its not much of a difference to now, it's still pretty cool to see how much my work has adapted in the past year. I just started using Lightroom CC, so it's really interesting to be re-editing some of these photos and comparing them to how I used to edit as well.
