We are sometimes provoked by our backgrounds. As Americans,
we often don't know exactly where we stand. In The Profane, Zayd
Dohrn looks at how this place is occupied by Muslim-Americans.
In If I Forget, Steven Levenson looks at a Jewish American families
relationship with Judaism and their traditions. Neither play takes a
simplistic or simple view of the picture.The latter closes on April 30th;
The Profane is extended to May 7th.
Please hurry to get tickets for both of these excellent new off-Broadway
