The Artifice of “God’s Plan”
“There has been for a long time, the consensus by a considerable number of people, that God is responsible for everything, and that everything that happens is in accordance with His will. “It is God’s plan”, they believe, but I am here to tell you that is a lie.
We all have free will. The freedom to do literally anything that we want to. Free will is responsible for most of what happens on this planet today, but I have come to find that religious people would rather use the argument of “God’s plan” to validate inconsistencies in the Bible or to justify their own shortcomings in life. When such people fail to get a job or when they encounter some sort of problem in life, they say “Well, God must have not wanted that for me. Maybe He has something better in store for my life”. When “something better” does not eventually come along, they inevitably become upset with God as if it is His responsibility to do for them what they could do for themselves. They would rather not acknowledge it was their own fault that the job interview did not go so well, or that it was their carelessness that lost them something they thought to be important.
The biggest problem with the ruse of “God’s plan” though, is not the delusions of men and women who seek not to take responsibility for their lives. The biggest problem is the fact that when people say that something is “in accordance with God’s plan”, what they are in effect doing is saying: “God is responsible, so He is to blame if the outcome is not as desired”. This can be a very dangerous claim, as it is used not only when people survive accidents, it is used as a reason when people die.
Sometimes the reason for a person being told “It was his/her time to be taken by God” can be in the hopes of consolidation at the loss of a loved one, but it tends only to create the impression that God destroys the things we love with little regard for our emotional wellbeing or even our safety. Some people ask: “God, why did you take my brother away from me?”, while others say: “God never gives us more than we can handle”. They attribute the aforementioned and highly misused interpretation of scripture to their suffering, as if it is God who sends evil to afflict all mankind. As if He is responsible for all the murders, rapes, poverty, witchcraft, robbery, car accidents, diseases, famine, demonic-oppression, and depression going on in the world. The religious idea that “everything happens according to God’s plan” is an idea of satan’s own devising, so that God can take the blame for the evils in this world.
There are many people alive today who are angry at God that they have lost a loved one. They have been falsely led to believe that events such as peoples’ deaths are in His plan, and that it is His doing when a loved one passes away. These are accusations of murder against God, and such accusations are very serious. God does not just kill people. The excuse that “it is God who did it”, is exactly the kind of thing the devil likes to hear. After all, a benevolent God would never allow murderers, who commit unspeakable acts, to run free while innocent and very good people die continuously.
The nature and purpose of this thing we call “life”, and God’s association with it, are things which the Bible, in its state of such imperfection, has very much mischaracterised for humanity. Many people wind up saying: “If there is a God, then He doesn’t care”, or “…He must not be bothered by evil”, because Christians are cherry-picking from their flawed and man-made agenda-driven Bibles, and mixing their cherry-pickings with erroneous preconceptions about God and life. They then advertise their misconceptions to other people. Many of whom become indoctrinated, and many of whom are pushed away. While doing this, religious Christians are also eradicating the very things which God has left with us for our wellbeing and protection. Things I will clarify in the final stages of the last chapter of the book.
(The vast majority of atheists will point to all the inconsistencies in religious’ peoples’ claims of God being a certain kind of Person, and they will use such misunderstandings to declare that there must be no God. They do this because they lack the ability to separate such things from the matter of whether or not there is a God. The nature of God is a theological matter. Whether or not there is a God, is something else entirely, and it is something the evidence clearly demonstrates.)
This is why it is very dangerous for people to be deceived into believing that the Bible is the word of God. The concept of the Bible being the word of God, is a fabrication by manipulative people whose intent is to dictate to others how they are meant to live their lives, and to take advantage of said others.
(Atheism is largely the same thing. It is the substitution of one ‘God’ with another. It is for this reason, that many atheists seem very much to throw all manner of sense and logic away when discussing their atheism or when condemning the belief in God) When a conman presents religious people with the declaration that the Bible is the word of God, and demands that they therefore follow him and his interpretations of Biblical text, he can get his followers to do anything. As long as he has shown to them that it is what the Bible says, they will do it, because they therefore think it is what God says. Religious institutions and the religious people harboured within them are easily swayed from side to side by deceptive evil spirits, because evil spirits love the idea of God’s word, being declared to be where it is not.
When a Bible is believed to be the word of God by naïve people, the consequences of their acceptance of the scripture as such can be very damaging. To such religious people, the Bible is all the truth they need. They do not care about searching for the truth, because they believe God’s infinite word can be limited to a small book. Notorious religious cults like “The Branch Dividians”, “Heavens Gate”, “The Peoples Temple”, “The Unification temple”, “The Westboro Baptist Church”. etc. are very good examples of some of the things that the devil aims to do with religious people and how the evil spirit tries to move through them.
It is common to see similarities between the ridiculous behaviour of cult members and those of similarly religious people who claim to be “working for The Lord”, because it is the nature of evil made manifest in the form of religious dogma, to do and say ridiculous things. There are many churches which advocate beliefs in such a dogmatic fashion, and although most of them are not as extreme as those named above, they are all of the same religious mind-set of bigotry. I am glad that some of them have been imprudent enough to put themselves on television for all to see, so that people may be made aware of the caution which one should take before joining some churches.
Religious people and the cult leaders/fraudsters who deceive them, are under no contract with The Lord whatsoever, but they will claim that they are. How come? When you do not know anything about God how can you claim to know His will? The trickery of people who say they bring God’s word, is the sole reason for the existence of religions like Islam.
Muslims believe Muhammad was a prophet only because he said he was, yet historical facts refute Muhammad’s teachings and cast some undeniably serious doubt on his title as a prophet of any kind. The likes of David Koresh, L. Ron Hubbard (the creator of scientology), Jim Jones, Joseph Smith, and even Adolf Hitler, all share similarities with Muhammad in that they declared themselves to be some sort of God-ordained “prophet” or “messiah”, yet have not been able to prophesy a single event, nor were they able to perform a single miracle other than the fact that they found people to follow them.
To this day there are people from around the world who are claiming to be the reincarnation of Jesus Christ, and to this day there are people around the world who follow and believe them. The primary determining factor for the acceptance of such false prophets by their followers is a lack of understanding of who Jesus Christ was, and who the Son of God was.
A person who can follow a delusional (or clever) conman who calls himself Jesus Christ is someone who has made the mistake of worshiping Jesus Christ the man, instead of God who incarnated Himself in the human form of Jesus Christ. When a criminal claims to be a prophet of God or a “chosen one”, and when he finds people to believe him, he can (and he will) create all sorts of trouble.
Even Adolf Hitler, like all the many false prophets and evil-doers before and after him, found a way to use Christianity to justify his motives and actions, and there are many other people/organizations throughout history who have successfully used to the Bible to advocate the foolishness of things such as white supremacy. As a result, even in this day and age, there are people who believe that “only white people go to heaven”.
If a creature as vile as a white supremacist “KKK” member, can get away with using the Bible to validate his stupidity, then anyone can use the Bible to do anything, and they will claim that it is God who sent them. That it is “in God’s plan”, or in “His will”.
When the so-called “prophet” Muhammad left the cave and therefore the presence of what Muslims believe to be an angel, he was convinced that he had seen a demon. Not only that. He also believed himself to be demonpossessed and subsequently attempted to commit suicide more than twice. Any Muslim who endeavours to find out the truth about Islam will no doubt denounce their Islamic faith.
Do not make the mistake of believing religious Christians to be any different from religious Muslims though, because they are both religious, and they both have no valid reasons for believing in what they do, other than the fact that somebody has told them to believe. When you ask a religious Christian what proof he has that God exists or that his beliefs are sound he/she will point to the Bible and say, “Because the Bible says…”, As if to imply that they are right simply because they say they are, and other people just have to agree.
The nature of religion is to strip people of logic and of sense, and a discussion or debate with any religious person will prove this to you. I am sure you have had such debates before, so I am also sure you have all the proof you need.”
