3D selfie sumthin sumthin
Tried a scanning technique using a standard Kinect.
Subjects sat in a chair and were turned 360 as the scanner picked up form and color.
Software then joined all the images and produced a VRML file we could 3D print.
A bit blurry perhaps, but the end result is somewhere between haunting and folly.
