By the tail of the Dragonfly
The adventures of an itinerant soldier of fortune during the second millennia of the 20th Century. I have completed the first draft of Dragonfly in its entirety which is two volumes of the forgotten journals of an itinerant soldier of fortune during the second millennia of the 20th Century in the South Pacific region. It remains now a proof reading exercise making the jottings into a much more readable and user friendly format hopefully before the end of spring 2017. My father was probably a true Viking who lived during the wrong era about a 1000 years later. All his adventures were at sea on his PT Boats. Yes they were originally PT boats sold to the Royal Navy who re-designated them, as Motor Torpedo Boats or MTBs. Like the Viking Long ships, PT boats had a shallow keel, made of marine plywood and could go almost anywhere even over reefs with one outstanding feature---they could out run almost all shipping during their era with their three aviation fuel Packard engines.
