The subject matter of my work is the way I feel, the inner and deepest most personal feelings, in a emotional level it’s not to everyone’s liking, since it’s so personal it may be quite dark and macabre at times, although I also like to vary and create more happier work but the main work is related to death, depression and how it revolves to one’s person’s feelings when battling depression, the style if fits into japonism as it is quite inspired in Japanese culture and Japanese mythology too.
I create my work digitally and recently with oil and acrylic, digitally I make it with photos and digital painting, the process is called photo manipulation and it becomes an illustration. I’ve recently learned to paint as I’ve always drawn since a very young age and I am using both medias to express
my feelings. I am inspired by the old masters rather than contemporary artwork, there are a few contemporary I inspire myself in but they are pop surrealism movement, I find much more inspiration in the old masters as I want to be more realistic in a surrealistic fantasy way.
