My visual take on mother nature. Not a direct portrait of mother nature, but the idea of us being stewards of our surroundings if you will. Not a save the planet message, but a don't poop where you eat message instead. We are part of our surroundings, and what we put into those surroundings eventually comes right back to us. Full circle if you will. The dirt, flowers, grass, rocks, etc... all of it is symbolic of what could be the answer to what we currently surround ourselves with. The story I was sold growing up was that we are not animals, we are civilized. I think I can stop right there as I don't believe the story I was sold anymore. I keep thinking that the truth is we are animals. We just haven't accepted it. If we did, would that be enough to change us?
