Published the second image in a new, ongoing photo series today. Check it out right here. Words by Meredith!
I think that since I am a creative type, I go for the photos that I love compositionally more so than emotionally.
The other major factor for me in loving the photos was getting to see so many moments I didn’t witness on that day. It was and is incredible to look through them and see all the smiles, crazy dance moves, nerves, etc. When I say I love every photo, I truly mean it. You know how airports and malls are the best people watching? Most of the time people are so busy they have no idea they are being observed. The wedding photos feel the same in some ways to me. I get to sit back and see all the people we love and care about most in their own element without any idea a camera is on them.
If I absolutely had to choose one, it would be one of the images of Jackson walking down the aisle with the ring pillow in hand. He was all smiles. From day one, Britt and Jackson got along like it was meant to be. Britt is such a natural father; Jackson thinks he hung the moon. Our wedding day was as much about Jackson as it was about us, so seeing him walking in with Britt looking so handsome and happy brings tears to my eyes every time.
