Coming from a film and theatre background, I have long been fascinated by images, popular culture, stereotypes and gender issues.
I create artistic works that are offbeat, uncomplexed, dark and at the same time colourful. A totally fantasy and imaginary world.
We are in an excessive, superficial, hyper-sexualized and hyper-connected society, which over-consumes, discriminates and makes people more and more selfish. My photographs are above all an ode to freedom and tolerance. I work a lot on weariness and the body. The body is everywhere on social networks and in magazines, it becomes, for many, an addiction to the race for perfection, while weariness is a reflection of our generation.
I bring our world to light, both in its best and worst, by immersing my characters in everyday situations where many messages and criticisms are hidden.
