The deserted former Fogarty factory in Boston, Lincolnshire, UK. Playing with my new fisheye lens.
The factory and company closed down in October 2018. The company traced its roots back to 1826 when Timothy Anderson opened a feather processing factory in Boston. The Fogarty name stems from 1899 when entrepreneur Edward Fogarty, a small shareholder in F.S Anderson and Co. took over the business which became E. Fogarty & Co. Ltd. The company Dunelm continues to brand as Fogarty pillows, duvets and mattress protectors being made by other UK manufacturers, having bought the rights to the name.
