A squirrel climbed up a tree and very much to his chagrin another party was already present. He immediately appologized and turned to leave when the gray squirrel who first occupied the tree said, "Excuse me. May I burden you with a question?"
"I believe you just did," replied the crafty brown squirrel.
"May I burden you with a question kind Sir?"
"Yes, you very much may. Thank you."
The gray squirrel asked, "What would happen if I ate the raw heart from a sloth?"
"Is the heart fresh?"
"Yes, I rather imagine it should be," replied the gray.
"Ah, I see," said the brown.
"What change does the state of the heart have on the outcome of my eating it."
"On one occaision," replied the brown squirrel, "I ate a stale heart."
