other than that? nothing truly revolutionary is happening here. just read all the #meta for a hint: what is the business model? will freemium work? will they give up and do ads? hey how about who gives a fuck.
ello is a rorschach test for what makes you sad about facebook. in the end it's their thing and they'll make money how they want.
that we are still trying to solve the business model rubik's cube in 2014 for the online home of our personal and social identities is fucked and broken. they've made beautiful and lofty promises they can break whenever they want because they, not users, own and control it.
solve that and you change the world.
