Bio: Being able to speak to an audience with a photograph and no words has always been my artistic fire. Over 10 years experience with a camera and I am still a humble student.
Artist Statement of Work: I submitted these photographs because they hold a sense of community in my heart. The women I have photographed are artists themselves and the night in which these images took place was the opening night of our Holy Mother Collective Art Piece. A small group of women got together every day for 2 weeks and created/curated a show for all to see. I have never been involved in such a beautiful, creative group before and to me, it was my first time to be involved in a community.
