Human-centric fashion/portrait image maker. Taking women and their strength & beauty as the center. Photographer from Berlin.
It took years for me to become a woman.
There were ups and downs, ‘no’s upon no’s, loneliness and maddening crowds.
Men stood in the way: fathers, brothers; a few boyfriends, and a couple of husbands.
I fell, I cried. I wiped my tears; nursed my wounds.
I stood up and tried to run. I got tired. I moved on.
“Who is this woman?” I asked; “Is this me?”, “Am I this woman?”.
It took questions to become a woman; it took answers. It took mirrors and
closed eyes. It took trust and disappointment; surrender and control;
vulnerability and courage.
It took years.
Nowadays, the women inside me all join together singing out the same song:
“I am who I am”
