My artistic journey began in childhood in an art studio and continued art school including college and the Academy of Art.
After a period as an Art Director at the national film studio "Belarusfilm", I worked as a tattoo artist.
In 2014 I went back to painting working primarily in large formats.
My work centers on psychological portraits, sensuous landscapes, figure studies in realistic style.
Painting from the series “Refraction”
It was a glass of water on my table and the seeming breaking of the straight straw from deflection that inspired me to create a series of portraits.
In the same way in real life we rarely think about our perception of a person when we see him/her.
Just like glass and water, our upbringing, traditions, world outlook, time of the meeting, environment and other factors affect our attitude to and perception of other people.
It appears on the border of two realms, the visual and the psychological.
