Big thanks to everyone who came by the Lancaster Museum of Art and History last weekend for the opening of my first museum show 'Once an Astronaut.' I met so many great people - other artists, collectors, patrons and employees of the museum, and folks who just wandered in because it was super hot out and the museum had AC. For those of you who didn't catch the show, you can preview the entire thing, along with all the work from the fantastic 'New Vanguard' show, curated by Thinkspace Gallery, here. Did I mention it's all available to purchase? It is! 💰
For those of you in the area, Lancaster is about 60 miles north of LA, and I highly recommend taking the scenic route through the mountains and the Angeles Forest. The show will be up through October 30th, the people of Lancaster are lovely, and there's a ton of great art to see beyond my astronaut paintings, including the Thinkspace show upstairs, an amazing selection of paintings from NASA's own collection, and a great series of murals from the folks at POW! WOW! So what are you waiting for?
