Close your eyes and enjoy this image of Pan lying on the riverside and playing music
"Pan learns music" by Henry van Dyke:
" Limber-limbed, lazy god, stretched on the rock,
Where is sweet Echo, and where is your flock?
What are you making here? "Listen," said Pan,--
"Out of a river-reed music for man!" "
This is a multi-instrumental improvisation with a poem, voice, overtone chant, bouzouki, didgeridoo, framedrum and foot bells. Nothing was pre-composed, every sound, including the vocal melody, originated from the moment of playing.
