Got a line on a publication similar to the Women Destroy Science Fiction looking for short story submissions prior to the publication launching a Kickstarter to fund the actual printing, etc. I've been exploring being a patch on the QUILTBAG but I'm not sure how I would incorporate that into a short story in the scifi genre.
I've got an idea to incorporate a single session with a therapist where I was told that my relationship HAD to be broken because I wasn't having sex with my partner. It always seemed to me that my favorite scifi & fantasy novels have always used the tech/magic as a supporting character with the plot of the story being about the relationship between people.
Submission deadline isn't cut off until February 2015 so it might be possible to get done. Hrm. Well. For those of you who might be interested, it's called QUEERS DESTROY SCIENCE FICTION. http://submissions.johnjosephadams.com/queers-destroy-sf/submit/
