All the best work of any photographer must have some mystery. Life is everywhere, but rarely does it come to complete expression.

George Guimaraes Stastny (@george_s_photo)
Experienced, and nationally published black and white street photographer. I started my interest/journey in street while studying photography while I lived in Brazil for about a decade (roughly 2004-2014), and I continue on in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada where I currently call home.
My influences are mainly Henri Cartier-Bresson, Brassai, Jacob Riis, Bruce Davidson, Elliott Erwitt, and other classic documentary/street photographers. I like using a mix of modern and vintage camera gear; mainly Micro Four Thirds (MFT) cameras, and a selection of 35mm SLR and Point and Shoot cameras.
I hope you'll enjoy my stories as much as I enjoyed capturing them!
