My full time job is as a fundraiser for charity. I have been involved in charity fundraising since volunteering for a charity a decade ago and even though it’s my job I still volunteer with other organisations I’m also passionate about to raise money for charity in my free time when I’m not illustrating. My submissions include a self portrait from a charity music festival I volunteered to organise, a cut out and keep picture of wildlife documentary maker David Attenborough to display in your kitchen to remind you why recycling is such an important thing to do to care for the world around us and a pen and ink ode to Grace Hopper for her incredible contributions to technology and inspiring women and girls into STEM subjects. What links my submissions is the notion that there is a myriad of commitments you can make to try and make the world a better place. It can be small daily actions to ensure your impact on others is positive right up to becoming an inspiration for equality and the contributions we can make to organisations doing good in between. It's through the tiny droplets of comtributions that together we can create an ocean of change.
