Haven't posted here in a while - it's amazing to see that this has become such a creative community. Hi. My name is Ben. I have a small company called Sidgl. I make bespoke commuter bags (satchels, messenger bags, backpacks and totes) for active urban adventurers. I try to source everything from within the US and all my manufacture is in the US. I have this crazy idea that in order to revitalize manufacturing in this country, we have to focus on small and focus on quality and we have to link together everybody that is focused on small-batch production. It seems like a crazy dream. The goal is to work in and around dying communities, to bring in new ideas and vitality. I live in Chicago, and work near the West Side. A lot of great stuff happening around here.
