As a 48 - soon to be 49 year old man starting a company, I find that one of the great stressors is that I am not 29. Or 30. I am not the proverbial age where I should be working 16 hour days cranking out the next Big Thing. This is what I get told is the right and proper and true path. How can a 50 year old start a company? We are the OLD paradigm. get out of the way, son, make way for yout'. Eh. I have a single response every time I get smacked in the face with this bias: I am old, I am injured. And I fight dirty.
