Stephanie Lovos- Bonilla // 24 // Painter and Illustrator
Stephanie Lovos was born in Los Angeles, California, in 1993. She received her BA in Studio Art and minoring in Psychology from California State University Channel Island. Lovos Artwork consists of emotional responses to certain colors, shapes and figures. Lovos influences come from her experiences in life dealing with anxiety and its instability. She uses a range of different colors to represent those feelings. She looks at the ocean as her inspiration and the range of color they reflect. The waves crashing and creating different shapes and forms, later disappearing at an instant. Her artwork emphasis the important of one being fully immersed and experiencing a moment in time. Lovos inspiration from is Helen Frankenthaler, Philip Guston and Joan Mitchell. Lovos also creates digital illustration using programs such as Sketchbook Pro, Photoshop and Illustrator.
