I like space, science and media art.
My works are imagined from the behavior of microscopic particles to the macroscopic universe by using Processing, openFrameworks etc.

I am a photographer and I search for the essence of my work in the artistic conception.
The deconstruction of beauty as poetic narrative.
I want my photographs to provoke reflection and estrangement. I believe that monstrous and sublime can dialogue very well in the visual arts.
Mixing gloomy scenes with ethereal characters, I love it.
I think that photography as an artistic expression must be dense, deep and forceful.
Not just beautiful.
Art resembles life and fear and solitude must also be represented.
From this premise, my trajectory has been carefully drawn to build an authorial project, contemplating my particularities and lyricisms.
"My past no longer exists. What remains are memories, upbringing and family stories. But these are unreliable as a fact.
Still, I make every decision for my future based on my past. "
Jasmijn Duterloo (1975, 's-Hertogenbosch), studied Commercial Design, next delved into photography and completed the Photo Academy in 2016.
In her work, time and identity play a big role. It often starts with a hitch in her past: a gap in its history and a memory of wich she doubts the authenticity. She gathers as much information, stories and ideas as possible. She moves herself literally in the situation by reenacting it and then films or photographs this.

My passion for image-making stems from a life-long background drawing & painting as a child.. From an early age I enjoyed solitude, prefering the company of animals over people, and quietly observing the world around me with interest.
I use a combined digital & analog approach in my work, with a strong emphasis on emotive story-telling. I currently live in London, U.K.
I'm always seeking subjects to model for various ongoing projects. For inquiries regarding exhibitions, commissions, image licensing or editorial assignments, please e-mail me at:
