Steve Wozniak is getting into the comic-con business with the new-ish Silicon Valley Comic Con. Built on top of an existing event to get its convention center space, it generally follows the San Diego Comic Con model, but with a larger science and technology presence. It also appears to be for-profit, in contrast to the nonprofit SDCC.
