I'm somewhere between two worlds. I went to school to be an art director. Design is a passion of mine. I love it.
I want to create the next eye-catching campaign. I want to inspire kids to create. I want to spend endless nights figuring out how to craft something unforgettable.
I spent four years in school to do that someday, but I'm still trying to figure out exactly what will satisfy another passion of mine.
Everyone says the same thing, but I actually really want to change the world.
I think I have a unique political perspective, being raised the way I was in the place that I was.
People want to see progress, and I don't think we are wired to reject compromise. I want to be a part of making change happen.
Although I'm talking American politics I really did mean "change the world".
My country is very important to me, but we have to advocate for a better life for those who need it most around the world.
Why have so many of the efforts to build up the developed world failed, and what do we do different? How do we help create a better planet?
My big question: How do I satisfy both passions? How do I combine the two things that mean so much to me?
Advertising has so much power in social influence and change, which is one of the reasons I chose and love the industry. But social influence and policy are different things.
Let's see where life goes next.
Until next time.
