I’m deeply sentimental to the core, but I tend to avoid music that leans too hard on emotional specificity. (It should be my heart bleeding, not yours DAMMIT!) With only the lightest dusting of guitars and drums, ROCH’s new single “Vienna” provides room for both fantasy and (if you’re me) shameless navel-gazing. Best bit: the electronic breakdown near the song’s end reminds me of all the champagne sunrises and stolen kisses I’m still to have. Dream on lady, dream on.
