This body furthers an exploration into the phenomenology of abstraction. These images concentrate specifically on color field theory, focusing on the interplay of lines and colors to create emotional responses. The neon tubes help further the work from its original geographic location. This enables the viewer a subjective interpretation rather than the dismantling of the image objectively. The images are not intended to reflect the location they were taken but rather the inner destination one creates while viewing them. With the loss of narrative associations, these images may then serve as vessels for contemplation.

My work borrows insights from the current cultural cataclysm, metaphysical teachings or sometimes just the banality of existence. It can be utterly ludicrous or acerbic to some. Its Influenced by both traditional insights and modern dialogues.
Ever since I was a child I have been fascinated by the drama of life torn between yoni and the Linga. It started out as a thirst for knowledge that soon became a cacophony of desire to express through art.
I am a product of both the east and the west a true citizen of the world. Born near the India-Bhutan border, grew up in Kolkata, post graduated in Delhi and currently living and working in Germany.
