His work deals with human emotion, often with imaginary figures that serve as vessels to communicate the feelings that Evan is trying to evoke. Beyond just the figurative aspect, the color pallet, composition, texture, and brushstrokes all serve a purpose in pushing the emotional narrative of each painting.
