I'm doing an experiment today - Intermittent Fasting. This isn't anything crazy but does appear to be a trend in fitness/dieting right now. The basic idea is: skip breakfast.
I woke up at 7am this morning, and ate half a banana and had a cup of coffee. I've since had another cup of coffee (just finished before 10:30). Throughout the morning, I've had intermittent (haha, see what I did there?) pangs of hunger, but I don't feel like my stomach is about to turn inside out or anything.
Actually, I feel less hungry now than an hour ago. I guess that means I'm just used to the feeling? I'm hoping that come lunch time, I will feel hungry and my lunch will be a little more satiating.
The ultimate goal though is that I'm not blowing my calorie budget at breakfast and lunch and then going over for dinner. Now, I can enjoy a big dinner and likely a snack in the evening. Will see how this goes!
