A 69 year-old creative polymath. First major record deal with RCA ('73). Joined the hugely successful pop band Pilot ('76) as keyboardist. Joined pioneering space-rock band Hawkwind ('78). Left band and went to NYC in '79 and got second major record deal with Atco/WEA (Warner Music). David Bowie, Jim Steinman and Jimmy Iovine all offered to produce the album. The self-produced 'Fresh Blood' was released in 1980, to much critical acclaim. I created my first iPhone Phinger Painting in the early noughties.
