Pretty sure I survived the Japanese written final today; I got a 20/20 on the oral, which I kind of guessed I would. Only one more now, Politics of Identity. Considering I've greased every single test I've taken in that class, shouldn't be a problem.
Today was a long day though. I got up at 6:30 and made a good breakfast, then took FOREVER to get to school because somebody somewhere in Tokyo got hurt on a train, or got their feelings hurt, or something, which brought the whole rush hour train network to a shuddering slowdown. I still made it in time for the exam, but then I had nothing else to do until 6:15 PM, when I had a trial lesson to teach in Tamachi. I am so broke at this point that I can't afford to make two round trips in one day, so I went with Ryan over to Shinjuku and looked at some cameras I can't afford (although I did get a possible line on some 127 film).
Came back and conked out on a couch in the student lounge until Ryan finished his other final, then wandered around Tamachi for a bit before teaching the trial lesson. Trials for this company are 30 minutes and only pay 1000 yen, and I had to buy a 300 yen coffee, so I made 700 yen on the deal, which I promptly put on my Pasmo train card so that I can get to school on Wednesday. Holy SHIT I'm broke.
Oh well. Came home, ate something, now I'll have a bath and then sleep. Got absolutely nothing to do tomorrow except obsessively check my mail to see if this guy signed up and if the one-day gig I applied for came through.
