This High School Summer Program I'm doing is exhausting, but also awesome, in that I'm getting to do a bunch of tourist stuff on the school's dime PLUS I get paid for it PLUS two really good meals a day. Today I got in there and taught my early lesson, then made it to the Venditorium (We can't really call it a cafeteria, so Boss Vancouver created that word instead) for a lunch of a really excellent tonkatsu sandwich. You always forget how good a REAL tonkatsu sandwich is after eating dozens from the konbini. Then the kids had afternoon class, we packed everything away, and then we all went to the Ghibli Museum. YEAH. I had never been. It was pretty cool, and I got some souvenir stuff for @populuxecowboy. Then, we went back to Shinjuku, with only the briefest of stops to take one kid to the hospital, and we had dinner. I went to a great Vietnamese place. Then we got the young'uns back to their hotel, and then I drank two cans of Asahi Dry on the train ride home. Now bed.
