Beer #2: Yona Yona Ale Music: "Notices," Build Buildings
This one is the ringer, as I've had it many times before and know I like it. (Spoiler Alert: I like most Japanese beer.) Yona Yona isn't as sweet as the Ichigo Red and a little heavier. I've always thought of it as a bit more of a winter beer for that reason. Granted, it's just about December here, but it's still up in the sixties during the day, so this beer is almost a bit too early, but still, delicious. I know for a fact this one is available in Seattle; in fact, I'm pretty sure you can pick it up at H-Mart. Well worth it if you only have a couple of beers at a go and want to savor them.
Build Buildings is a strange name for a band, and their music was very ambient with lots of sampling. Now I'm listening to "Adrift on Deep," by Blu Mar Ten, and it's AMAZING. Very atmospheric and sort of noir-technoey, like "Blade Runner" meets "L.A. Noire." Excuse me, I must go and favorite that song.
By which I apparently meant, "Buy one of their EPs on Amazon."
