Memories of Music. What are some of your fondest moments where music is the key element?
I have one from when I was a teenager and I had dubbed Modern English - After The Snow album on a tape and was listening on my walkman... this is mid-1980's. I was walking through the neighborhood around my house lost in the music. The grass was crunchy from a late fall frost. The air was crisp as fall was starting to turn to winter.
I was feeling melancholy. I don't remember what I was thinking about. Probably the future. I do remember the feeling. That album. That day. That crunchy grass. The cold air in my nose. My ears getting cold. Not wanting to go inside. Which was odd for me because I've always far preferred being indoors.
That album will always be a favorite for me, even though so many other albums I loved back then faded away.
