Burçin Nalinci is a designer, researcher and educator with an MS. in Architectural Technologies from Sci-Arc and Bachelor of Architecture from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. She currently works as a computational design and fabrication consultant in Los Angeles, California. Her work as a student has been published in ACADIA, Facade Tectonics World Congress, and Arch Reporter. She has worked for renowned architectural studios in New York, San Francisco, and Los Angeles.
Her current work focuses on the re-interpretation of everyday objects that challenge the sensory, perceptive, and spatial experiences. She is involved in various collaborative research projects that combine technology, automation, new materials, and fabrication processes.
