Born and raised in Japan, Anne Yano is a Tokyo native who graduated from Tokyo Metropolitan Kokusai High School. In 2011 she moved to Los Angeles California to attend Santa Monica College, where she graduated with an A.A. Degree in fashion merchandising. During her time at SMC, she took interest in photography. Since then she has been taking analog photography and has worked with Urban Outfitters’ Space 15 Twenty as a blog contributor/photographer and has shot for brands including Victory Press, Urban Renewal, Objects Without Meaning, and has also shot for Urban Outfitters’ exclusive events with Lana Del Rey and Tavi Gevinson.
