Fine artist, teacher.
Painter based in Detroit, Michigan.
My body of work is a visual journal, some accounts are pivotal others are simple. I work to present this personal subject matter with economy of action and integrity of personal expression. I enjoy searching for the moment in a painting when the least amount of detail meets the truth of my subject. It’s this truth and simplicity that allow the viewer to connect, ultimately relating my work with their own experiences.

"The realness of the feminine spirit"
In my work I explore the relationship between woman, photography and self-expression. I find the connection between the camera and the eyes of a woman a magical moment, a truthful moment. The way a woman can connect and express so much with just being, with simple movement, through eye-contact, with just being herself in a natural environment and through fashion. The way she owns her identity and her cultural background.

Using a wide range of techniques, from fashion design to 3D printed sculptures, I’m creating unforgettable compositions, extraordinary art installations, meaningful concepts and playful art direction.
In my work, I wish to turn the imperfect, faulty and mundane into poetical and extraordinary pieces.
