A social network is only as good as the quality of the interactions it facilitates. The quality of @ello will be determined by how well it balances volume in users with the quality of posts.
Facebook and Twitter both have the advantage of being early to the game, and thus have a massive base of users. But they are both bloated and riddled with low quality social interactions and content.
@ello has the potential to be better than that. I for one hope that it will succeed, and I wish the founders the best of luck.
What can we as the users do to improve the quality of this new and exciting network? How can we make sure that it does not end up as just another Facebook?
