Okay, there is an ad out defending republicans against an apparent PR problem that they are having. It seems that they feel the need to say that, hey, we are regular folks just like you are. They show that they are artists, that they have tattoos and beards and that among other things they shop at Trader Joe's.
I thought I would look it up.
According to a gallup Poll article from last year the top 10 republican states are:
Utah 2
Wyoming 0
Idaho 1
N. Dakota 0
Nebraska 2
Kansas 4
Alabama 0
Montana 0
Alaska 0
Oklahoma 8
Listed next to each are the number of Trader Joe's stores in each state.
While I am sure that many republicans do shop at Trader Joe's it is clear that they don't in 5 of their top states and the Trader Joe's pickings are slim in the other 5.
